Amazing Grace—366 Inspiring Hymn Stories for Daily Devotions
July 12 • HIDING IN THEE • William O. Cushing, 1823–1902 • But the Lord has become my fortress, and my God the rock in whom I take refuge. (Psalm 94:22) • In childhood when we were frightened we wanted to run and hide in our mother’s or father’s arms until we felt the danger had passed. In the same way when trouble and sorrow disturb our adult lives, we look for a place of consolation or escape. But we can only …

The Christian’s Secret of a Holy Life
The Secret of Guidance • July 12 • There must be a complete submission of your will to God, that where He leads you’ll follow; and then you must leave it altogether to Him and don’t worry about it. If the thought comes that you ought to speak or to pray, say at once, “Yes, Lord, I will; only give me something to say if I must speak, and, if I must not, let me forget all about it.” • Don’t indulge in …

Morning and Evening
Go To Morning Reading Evening, July 12 • “His heavenly kingdom.” • — 2 Timothy 4:18 • Yonder city of the great King is a place of active service. Ransomed spirits serve him day and night in his temple. They never cease to fulfil the good pleasure of their King. They always “rest,” so far as ease and freedom from care is concerned; and never “rest,” in the sense of indolence or inactivity. Jerusalem the golden is the place of communion with all …

My Utmost for His Highest
• July 12th • The spiritual society • Till we all come . . . unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ. Eph. 4:13. • Rehabilitation means the putting back of the whole human race into the relationship God designed it to be in, and this is what Jesus Christ did in Redemption. The Church ceases to be a spiritual society when it is on the look-out for the development of its own organization. The rehabilitation of the human race on …

Thoughts for the Quiet Hour
July 12 • Awake, O north wind; and come, thou south; blow upon my garden, that the spices thereof may flow out • Song of Sol. 4:16 • Sometimes God sends severe blasts of trial upon His children to develop their graces. Just as torches burn most brightly when swung violently to and fro; just as the juniper plant smells sweetest when flung into the flames; so the richest qualities of a Christian often come out under the north wind of suffering …

Amazing Grace—366 Inspiring Hymn Stories for Daily Devotions
June 21 • MY FAITH HAS FOUND A RESTING PLACE • Lidie H. Edmunds, 19th century • I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him for that day. (2 Timothy 1:12) • Saving faith is much more than a commitment to a creed, church, or a doctrinal system. It must be a commitment to a person—Jesus Christ. Doctrinal statements and creeds are important in defining and delineating truth, but …
The Christian’s Secret of a Holy Life
Confidence in Christ and Confession • June 21 • That your prayers may be availing, dear boy, keep your own heart with all diligence. Keep it, that is, by abandoning it to the care and keeping of the Lord. I am so thankful you are finding the rest of faith. This can only come from a childlike confidence in Jesus, which clings to His word, and does not give heed to any doubt. Of course He will save you! This is just …
Morning and Evening
Go To Morning Reading Evening, June 21 • “The foundation of God standeth sure.” • — 2 Timothy 2:19 • The foundation upon which our faith rests is this, that “God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them.” The great fact on which genuine faith relies is, that “the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us,” and that “Christ also hath suffered for sin, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to …
My Utmost for His Highest
• June 21st • The ministry of the interior • But ye are . . . a royal priesthood. 1 Peter 2:9. • By what right do we become “a royal priesthood”? By the right of the Atonement. Are we prepared to leave ourselves resolutely alone and to launch out into the priestly work of prayer? The continual grubbing on the inside to see whether we are what we ought to be, generates a self-centred, morbid type of Christianity, not the robust, simple life of …

In the garden

Mary Magdalene, in a dramatic 19th-century popular image of penitence painted by Ary Scheffer. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

• IN THE GARDEN • C. Austin Miles, 1868–1945 • Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: “I have seen the Lord!” And she told them that He had said these things to her. (John 20:18) •

• I am suffering under a great temptation, one which never before has assaulted me since I was a child of God. It is to fearful unbelief—to doubt the reality of anything divine; to doubt the reality of any religious experience; to doubt almost the existence of any God. But oh! my Jesus keep me! Keep me Lord, keep me!

• “A bundle of myrrh is my well-beloved unto me.” • — Song of Solomon 1:13 • Myrrh may well be chosen as the type of Jesus on account of its preciousness, its perfume, its pleasantness, its healing, preserving, disinfecting qualities, and its connection with sacrifice. But why is he compared to “a bundle of myrrh”? First, for plenty. He is not a drop of it, he is a casket full.

•• What to do under the conditions • Cast thy burden upon the Lord. Psalm 55:22. • We must distinguish between the burden-bearing that is right and the burden-bearing that is wrong. We ought never to bear the burden of sin or of doubt, but there are burdens placed on us by God which He does not intend to lift off, He wants us to roll them back on Him. “Cast that He hath given thee upon the Lord.”

• God … hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ • 2 Cor. 4:6 • Christian! rest not until thou knowest the full, the unbroken shining, of God in thy heart. To this end, yield to every stirring of it that shows thee some unconquered and perhaps unconquerable evil.

Well, in my carrer as christian follower, i faced many circumstances. I had great revelations and saw the hands of GOD. But others did not believe in that message of prophecy. Facts happened and my strength was the LORD. He is my salvation, and a good taste and smell to run after, like the myrr, i put on the burning altar chalice in lithurgical prayer. I cast my burdens unto the LORD, and HE let´s HIS light shine in my heart ! PRAISE GOD!

Celtic Christian PHILOSOPHY and daily devotions by ArchBishop ROSENKRANZ

Bethel from the South

8 Videos, shaping a New Philosophy
by Uwe Rosenkranz:

another one (DO U WANNA NUMBER NINE?)•

WOUNDED FOR ME • W. G. Ovens, 1870–1945 (verse 1) • Gladys W. Roberts, 1888–? (verses 2-5) • To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in His steps. (1 Peter 2:21) • Death by crucifixion was one of the worst forms of dying. No Roman citizen was ever crucified; this horrible death was reserved only for Rome’s enemies.

• I hope that you are able to abide in Christ by faith and to know in yourself experientially the fulfillment of the promises concerning those who abide. It seems so simple to me now that I am amazed that every Christian does not see the blazing truth. How can they live for a moment outside of Him?

• “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” • — 2 Corinthians 5:21 • Mourning Christian! why weepest thou? Art thou mourning over thine own corruptions? Look to thy perfect Lord, and remember, thou art complete in him; thou art in God’s sight as perfect as if thou hadst never sinned;…

• Those borders of distrust • Behold, the hour cometh, . . . that ye shall be scattered. John 16:32. • Jesus is not rebuking the disciples, their faith was real, but it was disturbed; it was not at work in actual things. The disciples were scattered to their own interests, alive to interests that never were in Jesus Christ. After we have been perfectly related to God in sanctification, our faith has to be worked out in actualities.

• All the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed forever • Gen. 13:15 • God’s promises are ever on the ascending scale. One leads up to another, fuller and more blessed than itself. In Mesopotamia God said, “I will show thee the land.” At Bethel, “This is the land.” Here, “and I will give thee all the land, and children innumerable as the grains of sand.”

Temptations and how to deal with it.

• IN THE HOUR OF TRIAL • James Montgomery, 1771–1854 • No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up to it. (1 Corinthians 10:13) • Crisis situations are often the important pivotal points in our lives.

• It is unspeakably blessed to know myself “dead to sin,” and “alive in Christ.” It is such a wondrous amazing blessing, that if God had not declared it I would not dare to dream of it. But oh, praise His Name! He has said it; He has declared that for this very purpose Christ died, that I being “dead to sins might live unto righteousness,” and taking my place at the foot of the Cross..

• “He answered him to never a word.” • — Matthew 27:14 • He had never been slow of speech when he could bless the sons of men, but he would not say a single word for himself. “Never man spake like this man,” and never man was silent like him. Was this singular silence the index of his perfect self- sacrifice?

• The glory that excels • The Lord . . . hath sent me that thou mightest receive thy sight. Acts 9:17. • When Paul received his sight he received spiritually an insight into the Person of Jesus Christ, and the whole of his subsequent life and preaching was nothing but Jesus Christ—“I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.”

• The Lord God formed man out of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul • Gen. 2:7 • And so this soul of mine is a compound of two worlds—dust and Deity! It touches the boundary line of two hemispheres. It is allied on one side to the divine; on the other, to the beast of the field.

In my first studies and research i fell into temptation to do magic. I repented and laid down my old live at the cross. Then i preached and teached and studied JESUS alone and kept silence above evil wisdom. The  i wrote a book, covering my theological insights. The „Proof of GOD“ was it´s most blessing, but ebenso dangerous parts.

One doctor, who wrote the pre-word, warned me, not to depend on old magic research, bound to the ground. So i did, but then GOD spoke to me to publish a Philosophy for celtic cultur zone.

In these days before PESSACH, i start a video series, speaking the secrets of my theological and philosophical workmanship and crafts to greater audiance. MAY THE LORD GUIDE MY TONGUE AND THE eyes and ears of MY DEAR RESPECTED AUDITORY!-SALVE`!

• WHEN WE ALL GET TO HEAVEN • Eliza E. Hewitt, 1851–1920 • After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words. (1 Thessalonians 4:17, 18) • For the child of God, the end of this earthly pilgrimage is just the beginning of a glorious new life. •…

• What you say about being as it were, “within Christ,” is a most blessed experience, and, in measure, I do realize it continually. But oh, I feel that there are heights and depths of love which I have not yet seen that will swallow me up in unspeakable joy. How are we to get into Christ except by faith? How can we abide in Him except by believing?

• “I called him, but he gave me no answer.” • — Song of Solomon 5:6 • Prayer sometimes tarrieth, like a petitioner at the gate, until the King cometh forth to fill her bosom with the blessings which she seeketh. The Lord, when he hath given great faith, has been known to try it by long delayings. He has suffered his servants’ voices to echo in their ears as from a brazen sky.

Our Lord’s surprise visits • Be ye therefore ready also. Luke 12:40. • The great need for the Christian worker is to be ready to face Jesus Christ at any and every turn. This is not easy, no matter what our experience is. The battle is not against sin or difficulties or circumstances, but against being so absorbed in work that we are not ready to face Jesus Christ at every turn.

• The path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day • Prov. 4:18 • Have I begun this path of heavenly love and knowledge now? Am I progressing in it? Do I feel some dawnings of the heavenly light, earnests and antepasts of the full day of glory? Let all God’s dealings serve to quicken me in my way.
